Misha Cohen

Founding Attorney

Misha Cohen is a native of Atlanta, GA. She left Atlanta to attend Eckerd College for her undergraduate degree in Human Development. Misha spent some time after college pursuing her love of travel and immersion in new cultures by living in South Korea, Israel, and Costa Rica. Through her work and time abroad, Misha developed a passion for helping others which led her to pursue a career in immigration law. This travel eventually brought Misha back home to Atlanta where she earned her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law graduating cum-laude.

Prior to starting Lee and Cohen Law, Misha practiced immigration and criminal defense in a large private firm as well as in a non-profit organization. She has experience representing clients in a variety of matters including family-based petitions, removal defense, and humanitarian remedies. Misha is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Associations (AILA) and the State Bar of Georgia. Misha is admitted to the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. In her time off, Misha enjoys yoga, hiking with her dog Onyx, and traveling the world.

Paula Lavagnino Lee

Founding Attorney

Paula immigrated to Argentina as a young child and to the United States later in life. Being a Spanish-Korean-English speaking first generation immigrant herself, Paula understands the arduous process of the immigrant experience. She is committed to fight for the rights of those pursuing the American dream.

Paula has represented clients and litigated trials in immigration courts all over the country. Paula earned a double major degree in International Relations and Philosophy from the University of Georgia. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State College of Law. Paula is admitted to the Bar in the State of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. Paula is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Northern District of Georgia. In her spare time, Paula enjoys spending time with her husband and their fur baby Yara, baking and trying new recipes.
